Pursuit of beauty through the study of Chinese

Would you like to become beautiful by learning Chinese?

For beginners learning Chinese through NHK's "Mainichi Chinese," AFRI has started a Chinese study group this spring. Let's remember the beautiful tones of Chinese while experiencing Chinese culture and pursuing physical and mental beauty.

The name of our project is "Elegance Beauty. The word "Hua Bi" in Japanese sometimes has a negative connotation, but in Chinese, it has no such connotation, Which means "elegant and gorgeous beauty.

One of this project's initiatives is a "BEAUTY WALK" event in April 2024. Together with Ms. Lin*, a graduate student of health studies at the University of Tokyo, participants will learn how to walk beautifully using Chinese. (She is a graduate of Fudan University in China. She is experienced in coaching Miss Universe finalists.)

Not only does how you walk change your impression, but it also affects your physical condition because it is something you accumulate daily. Let's improve your physical and mental balance and refine your beauty through this study.

Date & Time： Sunday, April 14, 14:00-16:00

Place ：Arai Building 4F, 6-16 Nihonbashi Nakasu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo (AFRI Office)

Target： Students who are currently studying "NHK Mainichi Chinese

Participation fee: Free of charge

Clothing/Shoes: Participants are welcome to wear regular clothes. Please bring high heels in addition to sneakers or other comfortable walking shoes (heels of any height are acceptable).
