The Asia Cancer Forum, established in 2004 as an Asian cancer information network in collaboration with the Asia High-Tech Network Conference (led by Professor Jun Miyake from Osaka University), is a cutting-edge venture in the realm of cancer care. As a member of the International Union for Cancer Control (UICC), we're relentlessly pushing for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Asian cancer care, leveraging the University of Tokyo as a hub for our interdisciplinary policy advocacy.
We're deeply committed to using our expertise, garnered from focusing on UHC for cancer in the Asian region, to forge a community that collectively supports and addresses cancer as a disease that can affect anyone. AFRI, resonating with the mission of the Asia Cancer Forum, collaborates in our Asia-centric initiatives, co-hosting various projects to catalyze this vision into reality.
